WL: 36mm. C. etheoclesis a forest species known to inhabit somewhat degraded forest and some typesof dry forest. Thenominate subspecies flies from Senegalto Nigeriaand is now objectively reported from Guinea-Bissau, although its occurrence in the country was foreseeable (Larsen, 2005); some other subspecies are known along CentralAfrica to Kenya, west of the Rift valley. Thecaterpillars are polyphagous and feed on Rhamnaceae, Ulmaceaeand mainly on Fabaceae.
