Notes. This species is morphologically related to G. fulvipesand G. pallipes. Slight differences in morphology and partial DNA barcodes (but only mini barcodes of 144 base pairs are available from High Arctic specimens) suggest this is a different species. However, it cannot be described until a comprehensive study of the fulvipes/ pallipescomplex is done. Most of the 46 studied specimens are from Banks Island, with two specimens from Bylot and Baffin Islands.
