Internodes ca 7 cmlong, and 4–6 cmin diameter, green. Leaf pinnate, ecirriate, ca 3.5 mlong; ocrea spiny. Leaflets 30–46 per side, lan- ceolate, 40–65 cmlong, ca 3 cmwide, acuminate, veins 3 innumbers, terminal leaflets connate at base. Inflores- cence ca 1 mlong, flagella absent; partial inflorescence up to 10 innumber, 20–25 cmlong; staminate rachillae 6–9 cmlong; pistillate rachillae 10–15 cmlong with dyad flowers.
