First metasomal tergite 1.8–1.9 times as long as its apical width.   Diagnosis.According to the key by Fischer (2003), this new species is similar to  S. graeca Fischer, 2003and  S. simplimarginata Fischer, 2003.  S. falcoi sp. nov.differs from  S. graecain having the mandible 0.6–0.7 times as long as wide (as long as wide in  S. graeca), first flagellar segment twice as long as its width (2.5 times in  S. graeca), hind femur 3.9 times as long as its maximum width (3.5 times in  S. graeca), and the first metasomal tergite 1.9 times as long as its apical width (1.5 times in  S. graeca). On the other hand,  S. falcoidiffers from  S. simplimarginatain having the mandible 0.6–0.7 times as long as wide (1.2 times in  S. simplimarginata), the first flagellar segment twice as long as wide (2.5 times in  S. simplimarginata), hind femur 3.9 times as long as its maximum width (5.0 times in  S. simplimarginata), and first metasomal tergite 1.9 times as long as its maximum width (1.6 times in  S. simplimarginata). According to the key by Belokobylskij (2004a),  S. falcoi sp. nov.also resembles  S. lacessivaFischer, 1975, but differs from it in having the mandible 0.6–0.7 times as long as wide (as long as wide in  S. lacessiva), the first flagellar segment twice as long as its width (1.25 times in  S. lacessiva), and hind femur 3.9 times as long as its maximum width (3.0 times in  S. lacessiva). On the other hand,  S. falcoiis similar from  S. berbegalae sp. nov.and  S. navarroae sp. nov. This new species differs from  S. navarroaein having the mandible 0.6–0.7 times as long as wide (0.9 times in  S. navarroae), the first metasomal tergite 1.9 times as long as its apical width (1.75 times in  S. navarroae), the lower tooth longer than upper tooth (shorter in  S. navarroae), eye in lateral view 2.15 times as long as high (1.75 times in  S. navarroae), scape 3.15 as long as pedicel (2.5 times in  S. navarroae), and anterior mesopleural furrow smooth (crenulated in  S. navarroae). Differences between  S. falcoiand  S. berbegalaeare showed after description of the latter species.
