Note: as Philonthina, not Xanthopygina, without discussion (new placement, teste Chatzimanolis in litteris( 8 Jan 2014), Chatzimanolis (2014).  =  Prionopus  Bernhauer 1921a: 20, as subgenus of  Trigonopselaphus Gemminger &amp; Harold, 1868(preoccupied, not Billberg 1820 ( Hymenoptera), Schönherr 1825 ( Curculionidae). Typespecies:  Trigonopselaphus elviraeBernhauer, 1921, by monotypy. Note:  Prionopedinusis currently known as a monotypic genus endemic to the Neotropical region ( Colombia), not keyed out by Chani-Posse (2014a).</spm:hasContent>
