It is distinguished by fused or joined wing-like extensions on the inferior appendages.   Description.Head, body and wings brown; wings similar to  A. varus( Fig. 4). Forewing length about 3.2–3.3 times width: male 5.4 mm. Forewing fork 2 long with footstalk, footstalk about 1.5 times length of cross-vein r-m, length fork about 0.9 times length fork 3; fork 3 length about 3.6 times length footstalk, footstalk length about 1.6 times length cross-vein m. Hindwing length about 3.2 times width, fork 2 with short footstalk, length about 1.1–1.3 times length cross-vein r-m, fork 2 about same length as fork 3. Male. Tergum X membranous ( Fig. 10). Superior appendages in lateral view, forked, with larger apically directed fork and smaller, more slender, ventral branch and with a pair of curved, dorsally directed processes basally ( Fig. 8); in dorsal view, length about 3 times width, apices slightly incurved ( Fig. 10). Phallus generally tube-like, ventrally broadened subapically, with an embedded bifid spine; with a single sword-like process (phallic guide) arising from near the base of the inferior appendages ( Fig. 8). Inferior appendages with fused or joined dorso-lateral wing-like extensions, dorso-ventrally flattened; in ventral view, length about two-thirds width, broadest and rounded laterally near the middle, narrowed subapically, with rounded apex ( Fig. 9); in lateral view, lateral projections slightly dorsally directed, broadest near the middle ( Fig. 8). Female.
