Morphological Variation in the present series of  E. woodmasoniis within the reported range (Manning 1978b; Ahyong 2001; Ahyong et al.2008). The abdominal carinae are spined as follows: submedian 5– 6, intermediate 3–6, lateral (1)2–6, marginal 1–5. The lobe between the terminal spines of the uropodal protopod is usually rounded (pointed on one side in one specimen), the anterior lobe of thoracic somite 6 is usually slender, and the anterior lobe of thoracic somite 7 is blunt (angular in one specimen).
