Pleura and subscutellum grey pollinose. LTC about 0.5 times LFC. Leg dark only femoral-tibial joint narrowly yellow. Pulvilli of front leg as long or only slightly longer than distitarsi. Tergite 1 brown pollinose in anterodorsal half, otherwise grey pollinose. Tergites 2–6 laterally grey pollinose, otherwise shining except anterior third to half of tergite 2 with grey pollinosity. Ovipositor in lateral view with long and weakly curved piercer showing a distinct ventral step at the transition of base and piercer ( Fig. 49).  Annotations: The original syntypeseries consisted of an unknown number of males collected at three localities in Bohemia(nowadays Czech Republic) ( Kowarz 1887; De Meyer 1996), of which two males remain at UMO. The specimen from Chodov was dissected and is designated and labelled as lectotype. From outside Europe, a female has been cited from Mongoliaby Kozánek (1992).
