Males are coloured similarly to the females and in combination with examination of the penis valves can be reliably separated from the other species of  Euura.    Type material examined   Lectotype  Amauronematus distinguendus, here designated   GERMANY–  Sachsen• ♀; Tharandt; 50.97° N, 13.53° E; W.
