( Figs 5, 66) Description. Holotype. Female. Body length 2.3 mm, fore wing length 2.7 mm. Head.Weakly transverse in dorsal view, 2.0× as wide as long, 0.9× as wide as mesoscutum ( Fig. 5e). Temple a little shiny with shallow punctures, weakly constricted behind eyes from dorsal view. Face ( Fig. 5i) transverse, 0.8× as high as wide, relatively dull, rough with relatively deep and scattered punctures, inner margins of eyes a little converged towards apex. Posterior tangent to anterior ocellus virtually touching posterior pair of ocelli, distance between fore and a hind ocellus distinctly shorter than diameter of a hind ocellus, POL:OD:OOL = 4.0:1.9:4.0. Antenna ( Fig. 5h) as long as body length, penultimate antennomere 1.4× longer than wide. Mesosoma.Length:width:height = 45.0:28.0:30.0. Disc of mesonotum ( Fig. 5d) a little shiny, with strong, dense punctures, spaces between punctures weakly rugulose on posterior imaginary notaulic courses. Scutellar sulcus curved laterally, narrow with carinae inbetween. Scutellum highly shiny, smooth with several small punctures laterally, distinctly concave anterio-medially, other parts convex. Propodeum ( Fig. 5f) a little shiny, with well-defined lozenge-shaped areolation which open at at anterior end more or less punctate-rugose inside, lateral carinae of areola bifurcated medially, lateral-posterior fields highly shiny and polished with some rugae, anterio-laterally shiny, with small punctures along costulae. Mesopleuron highly polished, anterior part with sharp, dense punctures. Legs.Hind coxa shiny, with distinct punctures. Spines on outer side of hind tibia relatively numerous. Inner spur fully half length of hind basitarsus, outer spur 1/3. Basitarsus of hind leg weakly shorter than tarsomeres 2–4 (16.0:17.0). Wings.Pterostigma 2.7× as long as its widest part ( Fig. 5b). Vein 1-R1 1.2× longer than pterostigma, 7.0× as long as its distance from apex of marginal cell. Vein r arisingfrom middle of pterostigma, r weaklyinclined outward, weakly longer than width of pterostigma, fully 2.0× longer than 2-SR, distinctly angled at meeting, 2-M 0.7× length of 2-SR and almost as long as 2-SR+M and slightly longer than 1-SR, m-cu as long as width of pterostigma. First discal cell of fore wing as wide as high ( Fig. 5c). Second discal cell of hind wing 1.4× wider than high. Vein cu-a strongly curved. Metasoma.0.8× as long as mesosoma. T1 ( Fig. 5g) nearly parallel-sided, indistinctly widened before apical constriction, 1.3× longer than hind width, basal 1/3 concave, polished, turned-over part quadrate, dull, rugose-punctate medially, weakly longitudinally striate on apical third, hind tubercle polished. T2 weakly rugulose with sparse punctures, transverse, 4.5× wider than long in middle, weakly curved apically. T3 1.3× longer than T2, with some shallow punctures. Tergites posterior to T2 polished, shiny, and pubescent. Hypopygium not longer than apex of metasoma. Ovipositor sheath 1.2× as long as length of hind femur, parallel-sided. Ovipositor relatively thin, apical attenuation weakly differentiated. FIGURE 5. Dolichogenidea anterocavaLiu & Chen, sp. nov., female, holotype. a.habitus, lateral view; b.fore wing; c.hind wing; d.mesosoma, dorsal view; e.head, dorsal view; f.propodeum, dorsal view; g.metasoma, dorsal view; h.antenna; i.head, frontal view. Scale line = 0.5 mm. Colour.Black, tergites posterior to T2 brownish ( Fig. 5a, g). Tegula brown. Palpi white and spurs whitish yellow. Antenna and ovipositor sheath dark brown. Labrum and mandible reddish yellow. Legs bright reddish yellow, except coxae dark reddish brown to black, trochanters, most of hind femur, posterior fourth of hind tibia and tarsus infuscate. Wing ( Fig. 5b, c) membrane hyaline, weakly brownish, vein 1-R1, C+SC+R, pterostigma yellowish brown to brown, vein r, 2-SR and 2-M dirty yellow, other alar veins more or less whitish. Variation.Body length 2.2–2.8 mm, fore wing length 2.5–3.0 mm. First discal cell of fore wing a little wider than high in specimens from Hainan, T2 less transverse, 3.6× wider than long in middle, some specimens with distinct white band on tergites posterior to T2. Male.Unknown.
Host.Unknown.

Distribution.Oriental [ China: Fujian, Guangdong, Hainan].
Etymology. The specific name “ anterocava” derived from the Latin “antero-” and “cavus”, referring to scutellum distinctly concave anterio-medially.
Remarks. This species is similar to D. bambusae(Wilkinson), but differs in the following: propodeum with well-defined areolation (the latter definitely present but rather weak, occasionally nearly obsolescent); vein r of fore wing fully 2.0× longer than 2-SR (the latter usually about equal in length); and T1 1.3× longer than hind width (the latter 2.0×).
