General distribution.Europe: Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia, Romania, Ukraine; West Asia: Caucasus, Cyprus, Palestine, Syria, Turkestan, Turkey(Zapparoli 2002; Bonato et al. 2011). Chorotype.East Mediterranean. Habitats.Maquis and phryganic formations with Pistacia, Cistusand Ceratonia, Pinusforests, cultivation with vineyard, Oleavegetation, Platanus orientalis, mixed forest with Pinus, Quercusand Acer, ravines with Platanus, Juniperusand Quercus, pastures. Altitudinal range: 5–1920 m. Range of leg pairs recorded in Cyprus.63–73 (3) and 65–75 (ƤƤ).
Remarks.Previously known only from Mount Olympos (Troodos Mt.) ( Turk1956: 657).
