White(no. 58). Fromthe Mathews Collection(no. 9563) via the Rothschild Collection.  COMMENTS: In the original description, Mathews cited his catalog number of the holotypeand gave the range of whiteaeas South Australia. This female holotypewas described, but not illustrated, in Mathews (1927: 415). AMNH 673746 (Mathews no. 12218), male, Streaky Bay, 29 August 1911, was not cataloged until May 1912, after the 31 January 1912publication of whiteae, and is therefore not accepted as a paratype. Other specimens of this form in AMNH from South Australiawere collected after the description was published or were not part of the Mathews Collection. See Schodde and Mason (1999: 616–617)for recognition of whiteae. 3059913513 1911-08-29 USBGN Australia -34.2 Lake Greenly 720 135.25 Eyre Peninsula 61 61 AMNH 673745 1 South Australia holotype
