Strix rufipes chacoensis Cherrie & Reichenberger, 1921 Strix Insects found in birds’ nests from Argentina. With such distributions, the mention of Mazza & Schreiber (1938)may be attributed without doubt to  Strix rufipes chacoensis. Noireau et al. (1997)said that the nest of a bird was inhabited by an owl, but the original record of Mazza & Schreiber (1938)is about a nest of an owl.
