According to the original description, which is based on several specimens from one locality, which does not specify any characters allowing a reliable interpretation, and whose illustrations of the aedeagus are too schematic to be of any use,  A. medvedeviresembles  A. lutzi(i.e.,  A. gratilla) in habitus and coloration. A loan request addressed to the Zoological Institute in Almaty, where the typematerial is deposited, remained unanswered. It appears rather unlikely that  A. medvedevishould represent a species not treated in the present revision. In fact, the sketch of the median lobe of the aedeagus, in particular the shape of the apical membranous protrusion of the internal sac, would suggest that  A. medvedeviis conspecific with  A. gratilla. Until the typematerial can be accessed, however, the identity of  A. medvedevimust remain doubtful.
