Microvelia pulchella Westwood, 1834: plate 6, figs. 5a–h (original description). Identification.Our specimens were identified based on the short pronotum of the apterous specimens, exposing the mesonotum ( Figs. 9E, G); the male hind tibia slightly curved ( Figs. 9E–F, H); the male abdominal sternum VIII without modifications; and the general shape of the body, narrow and with parallel lateral margins in males but oval and robust in females ( Figs. 9E–H) ( Nieser & Melo 1997; Rúdio & Moreira 2011; Franco et al. 2021; Rodrigues et al. 2021b).
