( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 )
Acropimpla taishunensis Liu, He & Chen, 2010 . Zootaxa, 2394: 23–40. Holotype: Ƥ, China: Zhejiang (ZJUH).
Diagnosis. Face yellow with pentagonal black mark centrally, yellow extending up inner orbits to antennal sockets; propodeum with median longitudinal carinae distinct; clypeus, scutellum and metascutellum yellow; metasomal tergites black with yellowish apical and lateral stripes; ovipositor 2.20x as long as hind tibia ( Liu et al. 2010).
Distribution. Recently described from China, this is the first record of A. taishunensis for Vietnam ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 ).
Remarks. The specimen from Vietnam has a shorter malar space (0.20x basal width of mandible versus 0.40x), a longer hind femur (4.55x as long as wide versus 3.90x), and darker metasomal tergites compared with the original description of the species by Liu et al. (2010). In addition, the specimen from Vietnam has the clypeus strongly convex basally and strongly concave apically.
Material examined. Nghe An, Phuc Son, Anh Son: 1Ƥ ( IEBR), 250–300 m a.s.l., 23.IV.2006, hand net, leg. Le X. H., Ich. 893.
