TYPE LOCALITY: Ghana, Oda .

DISTRIBUTION: Forest zone of Ghana, Ivory Coast, and Liberia.

COMMENT: Includes giganteus; see Van der Straeten and Verheyen, 1979, Rev. Zool. Afr., 93:10-35. Rautenbach and Schütter, 1978, Ann. Carnegie Mus ., 47(17):385-422, considered this species a subspecies of longipes .
