DISTRIBUTION: S. and E. New Guinea; D'Entrecasteaux Isis.

COMMENT: Possibly two specifically distinct forms are presently included under this name (ACZ). Type locality discussed by Tate, 1951, Bull. Am. Mus . Nat. Hist., 97: 296, and Laurie and Hill, 1954:123.
