TYPE LOCALITY: Australia, Queensland, Stradbroke Isl .
DISTRIBUTION: C. Queensland and N. New South Wales ( Australia).
COMMENT: Populations north of Cooktown (Queensland) considered in a different species ( capensis ) by Baverstock et al., 1980, Aust. J. Zool., 28:553-574.
