Remarks.

Harvey (2004) delimited the genus Parawithius to include three South American species: P. nobilis (With, 1908) from Colombia, and P. pseudorufus Beier, 1932 and P. iunctus Beier, 1932 from Paraguay. We add a further species from Colombia below.
