English: Mousa nettle.

Range.

Eastern Asia - Himalayas (Bhutan, North India, Kashmir, Nepal, Sikkim).

Use.

Root: Oil from the root used as a stomachic.

Notes.

In India the whole plant is used in a decoction for fevers ( Jain and DeFilipps 1991). The species is said to be used as a tonic and suppository; for fever, gout, parturition, and rheumatism; and as a counterirritant, for dislocation, fracture, sprain, and swelling ( Duke 2009).
