Holotype male with labels: (1) handwritten on white label: “ Tibet Amdo / 1976.7”; (2) handwritten on white label: “1”; (3) handwritten on white label: “close to Hydrophoria albiceps ”; (4) handwritten on white label: “ Hydrophoria limboforceps / sp.n.”; (5) handwritten on white label: “collector Hongbing Wang ”; (6) handwritten on white label: “ Hydrophoria longissima ”; (6) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ TYPE / Hydrophoria / longissima / Fan et Zhong ”.
Preservation: pinned; left fore leg mounted at the tip of a pinned paper with the specimen.
Paratype male with labels: (1) handwritten on white label: “ Tibet Amdo / 1976.7”; (2) handwritten on white label: “1”; (3) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ PARATYPE / Hydrophoria / longissima / Fan et Zhong ”.
Preservation: pinned; genitalia dissected and mounted on a pinned paper.
