Holotype male with labels: (1) handwritten on white label: “Xicen / 93.7.17”; (2) printed on red label: “ HOLOTYPE ”; (3) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ Pegohylemyia / nigribella / Identifier: Anxiao Deng ”; (4) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ TYPE / Botanophila / nigribella / (Deng, Geng et Liu) ”.
Preservation: pinned; genitalia dissected and mounted on slide. Missing parts: left mid and hind legs; right hind leg.
Paratype male with labels: (1) handwritten on white label: “Xicen / 93.7.17”; (2) printed on yellow label: “ PARATYPE ”; (3) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ PARATYPE / Botanophila / nigribella / (Deng, Geng et Liu) ”.
Preservation: pinned; specimen intact.
Additional notes: All specimens collected by Anxiao Deng and Lin Gen at snow mountain of Dayi County, Sichuan Province, 2500 to 4000 meters above sea level, E103°, N30.5° GoogleMaps .
