Preservation: pinned; specimen intact.

Paratype male with labels: (1) printed on white label: “Jinding / 82.6”; (2) handwritten on yellow label: “collector Anxiao Deng”; (3) printed on yellow label: “ PARATYPE ”; (4) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ Chirosa / paucisetosa / Identifier: Zide Fan ”; (5) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ PARATYPE / Chirosia / paucisetosa / Deng, Li et Sun ”.

Additional notes: All the specimens collected by Anxiao Deng and Shenghua Zhu; labels of paratypes pinned by Anxiao Deng, but the date of collection on the labels (84.7/82.6) do not match with the date in the original publication (1980-1982, IV-V-VI).

Current name: Chirosia paucisetosa Deng, Li & Sun, 1987 .
