Holotype male with labels: (1) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ #376 / Kangding / Chinese Academy of Sciences ”; (2) printed on red label: “ HOLOTYPE ”; (3) handwritten on white label: “ Leucophora piliocularis sp.nov. ”; (4) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ TYPE / Leucophora / piliocularis / Feng ”.
Preservation: pinned; genitalia dissected and mounted in a pinned plastic tube with specimen. Missing parts: right hind leg.
Additional notes: Holotype collected by Yan Feng at Paoma Mountain , 2800 meters, Kangding County, Sichuan Province.
Current name: Leucophora piliocularis Feng, 1987 .
