Holotype male with labels: (1) printed on white label: “Jinding / 82.6”; (2) printed on red label: “ HOLOTYPE ”; (3) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ Pegomya / semiannual / Identifier: Rong Li ”; (4) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ TYPE / Pegomya / semiannula / Li et Deng ”.

Preservation: pinned; genitalia dissected and mounted on slide pinned with the specimen. Missing parts: right wing.

Paratype male with labels: (1) printed on white label: “Jinding / 84.7”; (2) printed on yellow label: “ PARATYPE ”; (3) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ Pegomya / semiannual / Identifier:”; (4) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ PARATYPE / Pegomya / semiannula / Li et Deng ”.

Preservation: pinned; specimen intact.

Additional notes: Holotype collected by Anxiao Deng; Paratype collected by Anxiao Deng and Shenghua Zhu; labels of paratype pinned by Anxiao Deng, but the date of collection on the label (84.7) do not match with the date in the original publication (1983. VI) .

Current name: Pegomya semiannula Li & Deng, 1984 .
