Holotype male with labels: (1) printed on white label: “Jinding / 81.7”; (2) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ Pegohylemyia / seneciella / emeisencio / Identifier: Zide Fan ”; (3) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ TYPE / Botanophila / emeisencio / (Deng) ”.

Preservation: pinned; genitalia dissected and mounted on two pinned slides. Missing parts: All legs.

Paratype male with labels: (1) printed on white label: “Jinding / 81.7”; (2) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ Pegohylemyia / seneciella / emeisencio / Identifier: Deng 1983 ”; (3) printed on yellow label: “ PARATYPE ”; (4) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ PARATYPE / Botanophila / emeisencio / (Deng) ”.

Preservation: pinned. Missing parts: head; fore legs.

Additional notes: Holotype collected by Anxiao Deng at Jinding of Mount Emei , Sichuan Province; Paratype collected by Anxiao Deng and Kuanren Sun; labels of holotype and paratype pinned by Anxiao Deng, but the date of collection on the label (81.7) do not match with the date in the original publication (82. VI) .

Current name: Botanophila emeisencio ( Deng, 1983) .
