Holotype male with labels: (1) printed on white label: “Jinding / 81.6”; (2) handwritten on white label: “ Pegomya / dentella sp.n. ”; (3) printed on red label: “ HOLOTYPE ”; (4) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ Pegomya / dentella / Identifier: Zide Fan ”; (5) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ TYPE / Pegomya / dentella / Li et Deng ”.

Preservation: pinned; genitalia dissected and mounted on slide. Missing parts: right wing, almost all legs except the right fore leg.

Paratype male with labels: (1) printed on white label: “Jinding / 81.6”; (2) handwritten on white label: “33 /?”; (3) handwritten on white label: “ Pegomya dentella / sp.n.”; (4) printed on red label: “ PARATYPE ”; (5) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ PARATYPE / Pegomya / dentella / Li et Deng ”.

Preservation: pinned. Missing parts: left mid leg; right wing.

Paratype male with labels: (1) printed on white label: “Jinding / 84.7”; (2) printed on yellow label: “ PARATYPE ”; (3) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ Pegomya / dentella / Identifier: Zide Fan ”; (4) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ PARATYPE / Pegomya / dentella / Li et Deng ”.

Preservation: pinned; specimen intact.
