Holotype male with labels: (1) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ Tibet Lhasa / 19 79.5.23 ”; (2) handwritten on white label: “ Pegomya sp. / Lhasa : 79.5.23”; (3) handwritten on white label: “ Pegomya lhasaensis /sp.n.”; (4) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ TYPE / Pegomya / lhasaensis / Zhong ”.

Preservation: pinned; genitalia dissected and mounted on slide pinned with the specimen; legs mounted on paper triangle; abdomen mounted on the first label.

Paratype male with labels: (1) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ Tibet Lhasa / 19 80.5.14 ”; (2) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ PARATYPE / Pegomya / lhasaensis / Zhong ”.

Preservation: pinned. Missing parts: head; legs; abdomen.

Paratype male with labels: (1) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ Tibet Lhasa / 19 80.5.14 ”; (2) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ PARATYPE / Pegomya / lhasaensis / Zhong ”.
