* Cryptothecia striata G.Thor

This species has been reported from e.g. Bermuda, Brazil, Ecuador (the Galapagos Islands) and the USA ( Thor 1991; Makhija & Patwardhan 1994; Cáceres 2007; Bungartz et al. 2013; Berger & LaGreca 2014). In this paper it is reported also from Colombia, Costa Rica, French Guiana and the Netherlands Antilles.
