Distribution: — Lobelia cordifolia can be found in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico and Nicaragua. In Mexico, it inhabits Madrean and Tropical region of the Sierra Madre Occidental and Sierra Madre del Sur ( Figure 1 ). The distribution range of the species is from northwest Mexico to volcanic slopes in Costa Rica and reaches a range of elevation from 25 to 2400 m.

Distribution: — Lobelia endlichii grows only in Mexico. It inhabits the Madrean region in southwest Chihuahua and Sinaloa. The species is distributed in pine-oak forest at 1445 to 1985 m elevation ( Figure 1 ).
