Comments. Coopey (1946) reported Caenestheriella setosa (Pearse, 1912) from Oregon. However, the genus Caenestheriella has since been subsumed into Cyzicus by Straškraba (1965) and Sassaman (1995). Taxonomically, this genus is problematical and in great need of revision (Straškraba, 1965; Belk, 1992). It is unknown how many valid species are in the genus Cyzicus at this time.
