Treatment

Distribution in Iran. Kordestan ( Marjanyan et al. 2021), Mazandaran ( Marjanyan & Barimani Varandi 2014).

General distribution. Europe from Iberian Peninsula to Russia and the Caucasus; Asia: Turkey, Cyprus, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Iran,? Pakistan; Africa: Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia. For more details see Cate (2007), Prosvirov (2016b), Németh (2019), and Kundrata et al. (2019b).

Comments. Kundrata et al. (2019c) synonymized Lacon nadaii Platia & Németh, 2011 with Lacon unicolor (Candèze, 1874); hence only seven Lacon species are currently known from Iran.
