Remarks.—This species was described from Pará, Brazil and has since been found in Central America. It is distributed from Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, and Brazil (Pará and Mato Grosso).

Material examined.— BELIZE ( new country record), Stann Creek District, 1 specimen, mile 13 Southern Highway , 19 August, 1977, C.W. & L. O’Brien collectors ( LGBC) .
