Remarks.—This beautiful species was described in the genus Ozodes Audinet-Serville, 1834 , and is known to occur in the United States (southern Texas), Mexico ( Morelos, Chiapas, Oaxaca, Quintana Roo, San Luíz Potosi, Colima, Tamaulipas, Yucatán, Jalisco and Veracruz), Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Costa Rica, and Panama.

Material examined.— BELIZE ( new country record), Cayo District, 1 specimen, Las Cuevas Research Station , 15 km E Caracol, 16.733°N, 88°32.985’W, 570’, 29 June–3 July, 2019, blacklight, L. G. Bezark collector ( LGBC) GoogleMaps .
