Type locality: Bokhtar ( Tajikistan).

Published (original) locality: Kurgan-Tyube and Kyzyl-Kala ( Tajikistan).

Paralectotypus: ♂, the same labels as in lectotype.

Current status. Halictus (Protohalictus) bucharicus Blüthgen, 1936 .

Distribution. A rare Central Asian species known from seven specimens: southeastern Kazakhstan and Tajikistan ( Pesenko 2005a).
