Type locality: Kyrgyz Ala-Too Range ( Kyrgyzstan).

Current status. Halictus (Protohalictus) takuiricus Blüthgen, 1936 .

Distribution. A rare, montane Central Asian: Аfghanistan, Iran, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyr- gyzstan, and western China ( Pesenko 2005a).
