Type locality: Atasu, Karaganda Province ( Kazakhstan).

Published (original) locality: corresponds to data on the holotype label (see below).

Holotype: ♂, Карагандинск.[аЯ] [область], Ю.[Жнее], Жана-Арка, Коксенг.[ир] [ Kazakhstan, Karaganda Province , 40 km S Zhana-Arka (= Atasu), Koksengir Mt., 48°22′N 71°32′E], 26.VIII.[1]959, на [on the flowers of] Geranium collin, Рудольф [ V. Rudolf leg.] // Holotypus, Halictus (Platyhalictus) rudolphae Pesenko // Zoological Institute St. Petersburg INS_HYM_0000165 .

Paratype: ♂, the same label as in holotype, but 20.VII.[1]959, Ponomareva leg. // Paratypus Halictus rudolphae Pesenko , ♂ <red label>.

Current status. Halictus (Platyhalictus) minor Morawitz, 1876 (synonymized by Pesenko 2007: 783).

Distribution. See Halictus minor .
