Description of male. Body length 15–17mm; fore wing length 13–15mm.

Head 1.4× as wide as long in frontal view ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1–5 ). Clypeus elongate ventrally, 1.7× as long as wide, triangular apically, almost flat in lateral view. Transition from clypeus to supraclypeal area very weakly depressed. Anterior ocellus larger than posterior ocelli. Mandible single-toothed. Antennal scape 2.6× as long as its apical width, F1 4.2× as long as its apical width, F2–F10 longer than wide, F11 bullet shaped, 1.5× as long as its basal width.

Mesoscutum 1.2× as long as wide in front of tegulae, parapsidal sulci present as distinct furrows basally and weak apically. Scutellum strongly convex, with an anterior median carina. Metanotum weakly convex, almost vertical. Propodeum convex in lateral view, almost vertical, longitudinal median furrow complete from anterior to posterior margin and very weak ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1–5 ).

T1 6.5× as long as maximum width, weakly but regularly expanding from base to apex, in lateral view regularly convex from base to apex. T2 weakly convex in lateral view.

Clypeus and supraclypeal area very finely and densely punctured. Interantennal and ocellar area with very sparse deep punctures. Pronotum with scattered shallow punctures, striate on ventral corners. Mesoscutum very densely and deeply punctured. Scutellum with sparse small deep punctures. Metanotum smooth with sparse shallow punctures. Propodeum shiny with very fine and dense punctures. Dorsal half of mesepisternum with moderately dense deep punctures, ventral half shallowly and densely punctured. Metaepisternum entirely smooth and shiny. Metasoma shiny with dense micropunctation.

Color. Black; following parts yellow: clypeus, subquadrate spot below antennal socket, stripe on inner margin of mandible, median portion of posterior margin of pronotum, basal approached spots on metanotum, dorsal rounded spot and ventral lunate spot on mesepisternum, apical spots on propodeum, lateral spots on T2, basolateral spots on T3, external face of fore leg, external face of mid and hind femora.

Cromatic variability. The following variation has been observed in male specimens: pronotal spots absent, metanotal spots absent, propodeal markings reduced, spots on T2 reduced, spots on T3 absent. A male from Negros presents the clypeus basally black ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1–5 ) and legs largely dark.

Distribution. Philippine Islands: Luzon*, Mindanao*, Negros*, Panay ( Saito & Kojima 2007).
