Material examined. 1 male. CHINA, Sichuan province, Gongga county, Shannan city, 2-VIII-2003, leg. Min Wang ( SCAU) .

Identification notes. Wingspan about 56 mm. Forewing brownish grey, covered densely with brown dots, the area outside the media and vein 2 is darkish purple and with a blackish purple speckle at apex, orbicular and reniform stigma purplish black with white edge. Hindwing apricot, with discal spot almost invisible and without black band.

Diagnosis. This species is characterized by the almost invisible discal spot of hindwing and absence of black band.

Distribution. China (Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan, Yunnan, Xizang) ( Chen 1999).
