Distribution: Eastern Africa, south and southeast Asia to New Guinea and Australia.

Countries: India, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, China, Papua New Guinea and Australia.

Habitat: Mostly marine waters.

Maximum size: 1.800 mm TL.
