Material exmined: Tenerife, Chuamada, Anaga Mountains, 4.07.2010, 6 larvae from Herpisticus s ubvestitus Wollaston, 1864, Teno Alto, L Majada, 870 m, 17.08.2019, 119 larvae from H. daute Machado, 2020 , Santiago del Teide, 8.07.2019, 900 m, 32 larvae from H. aridicola Machado, 2020 ,Tahodio, La Tosquerita, 575 m, 3.07.2019, 18 larvae from H. laesicollis Germar, 1823 ; Gran Canaria, Alden Verde, 673 m, 13.07.2019, 52 larvae from H. scopulus Machado, 2020 , La Aldea, 23.02.2009, 2 larvae from Laparocerus semipilosis Machdo, 2012 . All hosts are new for the complex of Leptus spp. It is the first record of L. (L.) tenerificus from Gran Canaria.
