[Notodelphys] halli Thomas 1921 , Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist., ser. 9, 8: 137.

Type Locality: Argentina, Santa Cruz, "Cabo Tres Puntas;" subsequently emended to "Estancia Madujada [= Estancia La Madrugada], not far from Puerto Deseado" ( Thomas, 1929:45).

Vernacular Names: Patagonian Opossum.

Distribution: Provincia Mendoza south to Provincia de Santa Cruz, Argentina.

Conservation: IUCN – Vulnerable.

Discussion: Reviewed by L. G. Marshall (1977, Mammalian Species, 81).
