Atomosphyrus tristiculus Simon, 1902: 405 (juvenile holotype from Chile: Valdivia [39.819492°S, 73.245187°W], deposited in MNHN, not examined); Galiano 1963b: 305 (redescription of the holotype and species treated as inquirenda); Galiano 1966 (revalidation upon description of adult males and females); Richardson 2010; World Spider Catalog 2017.

Diagnosis and description. See Galiano (1966).

Distribution. Only known from Chile ( Galiano 1966; Richardson 2010; World Spider Catalog 2017). Natural history. This species is an ant-mimic of Camponotus spp ( Richardson 2010).
