Type.

Madagascar. Prov. Toliara: forêt de Besomaty, entre le Fiherena et l’ Isahaina (Mangoky), 750-800 m, Dec 1933, H. Humbert 11236 (lectotype, designated here: P [P00404492]!; isolectotypes: K [K001044843]!, P [P00127500]!) .

Shrubs; southwestern Madagascar (Mahajanga, Toliara).
