Material studied. Pelotas : 1♂, 1♀, 20.III.2001, L. M. Vivian leg. ( UFRG) . Porto Alegre : 1♂, II.1995, J. A. M. Fernandes leg. ( UFRG) . Rio Grande : 1♂, Estação Ecológica do Taim, 17.III.1982, J. Grazia leg. ( UFRG) .

Diagnostic features. Body oval, light to dark green. Cicatrices of pronotum, basal angles of scutellum and connexivum immaculate ( Fig. 44 View FIGURES 44–46 ), but the latter may bear black spots at the posterolateral angles. Abdominal spine surpassing mesocoxae ( Fig. 45 View FIGURES 44–46 , red arrow). Spiracles pale or dark. Body length: 11.00–15.00 mm ( Schwertner & Grazia 2007; Campos et al. 2012; Garbelotto & Campos 2014).

Recorded host plants. Canola (Marsaro Jr. et al. 2017; Bianchi et al. 2019) and soybean ( Garbelotto & Campos 2014).

Distribution in Rio Grande do Sul. Estrela, Pelotas, Porto Alegre, Passo Fundo, Rio Grande and Viamão ( Fig. 46 View FIGURES 44–46 ).
