Distribution. Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay.— Brazil: RS ( Burckhardt & Basset 2000), SP ( Rübsaamen 1908, as ‚Psyllidengalle‘).

Host plant. Lithrea brasiliensis , L. molleoides (Anacardiaceae) .

Comment. The record from Ipiranga by Rübsaamen (1908) was questionably referred to PR by Burckhardt & Basset (2000). On the herbarium sheet of Rübsaamen (ZMHU) it was noted that the locality is in SP.
