Distribution. Cuba, Dominica, Guatemala, Jamaica, Mexico, Porto Rico.— Brazil: RJ ( Silva et al. 1968, as Carsidara duguesi [sic]).

Host plant. Malva sp., Wissadula periplocifolia (Malvaceae) .

Comment. According to Hollis (1987) the record of Silva et al. (1968) from Bombax cyathophorum is a likely misidentification.
