Type locality: Vanch (Gorno-Badakhshan Province, Tajikistan).

Current status. Andrena (Euandrena) pannosa ssp. atrosa Osytshnjuk (according to Osytshnjuk et al. 2008: 55).

Distribution. Tajikistan (Pamir). Nominotypical subspecies occures in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan.
