Female: not known.

Etymology. The last species to be studied and possibly the smallest Acrotrichis known to date.

Remarks. Although described on the basis of a single male, the very small size, narrow body and short antennal segments are sufficient to distinguish this species from all others.

Type data. Holotype: ♂, Ankarafantsika N.P., AKF/09/2011, sifting forest litter, Winkler app. extr., S.16˚18’09.9” E.46˚48’39.3”, 87 m, 23.iv.2011, L.S. L.S.Rahanitriniaina & R.Raveloson ( BMNH).
